Dr. Mynatt came to be Pastor of Hillcrest on February 2010. He was born and raised in Missouri, where he completed his undergraduate and Master’s degrees. He began full-time ministry in 1988 as a student minister. While in Missouri he served in two churches as their student pastor. Upon completion of his Masters, Michael moved to Texas so that he could continue working in student ministry. Michael also served as Senior Pastor for seven years in Texas. During that time in Texas, he completed his doctorate in Education Ministry with a focus on families, at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.
Dwayne came to the Hillcrest staff in July of 2003. He surrendered to the ministry while still in high school in 1973 and began serving the Lord on church staffs in 1976. Dwayne has served in full-time ministry since 1982, through five churches in four different states. He is a graduate of Delta State University (Bachelor of Music) and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (Master of Religious Education).
Dwayne and his wife Brenda have been married since 1981 and have two married sons. Cliff and Megan live in Washington DC and Brian and Kayla live in the Huntsville area. They are pursuing careers in public service and education respectively. Brenda serves as the Worship Accompanist for Hillcrest.
Jamie came back to the Hillcrest staff February of 2012 after previously serving as Hillcrest’s Minister of Worship from 2003-2008. After graduating from Auburn University with a Bachelor’s of Music in Theory and Composition and a Master’s of Music Education in Vocal Music degree in 1988 and 1989, respectively, he pursued a career as a public educator in choral music.
In 1989, he began a career in public education as a Choral Director as well as a bi-vocational Minister of Music. After a life-changing event in July of 2001, he surrendered his life and career to full-time worship ministry. He has had the privilege of serving in several churches and two wonderful school systems.
He is blessed with a wonderful wife, Cynthia, to whom he married in 2002, and four children, Hannah Beth, Micah, John-Mark and Jonah.
Mike was raised in Birmingham, AL, in a loving, Christian home. He accepted Christ at the age of 10 and was baptized shortly thereafter. His call to ministry shaped his college experience at Samford University. Mike holds Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from Beeson Divinity School. Over the last seventeen years, Mike has served churches throughout the Southeast in the area of discipleship. He is particularly passionate about welcoming people into the biblical community, in which they can grow into Christ’s likeness as they are connected in friendship with others. Mike’s wife of seventeen years, Stephanie, is a Marriage and Family Counselor. They have two sons: Ethan and Will.
Andy joined the Hillcrest staff in December of 2013. He is a graduate of Georgia Southern University and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (Masters of Divinity). Andy has served on staff in various churches in the southeast as a Youth Pastor since April of 2004.
Andy has been married to Jessica since 2007, and they have three children, Elijah, Esther, and Caleb.
Mrs. Annette, a native of Cullman, Alabama, graduated from Cullman High School. Her family moved to Enterprise on July 2000 and began serving here at Hillcrest Baptist Church. Mrs. Annette joined our staff on July 15, 2003, as the Director of Children’s Ministry. She has worked with children for approximately 20 years. Annette and her husband, Byron, have two children, Leslie and Matt.
Ronda was born and raised in Enterprise. After graduating from the University of
Alabama with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Accounting and a Master’s in Tax
Accounting degree in 1982 and 1984 respectively, she pursued a career as a certified
public accountant. In 2009, she began working at Hillcrest Baptist Church and has
had the privilege of serving in several different capacities. Her passion is ministering
to Senior Adults and she is presently serving as the Director of Senior Adults. She is
also the administrative assistant for the Counseling Ministry.
Ronda and her husband Paul have been married since 1987 and have two wonderful
daughters, Catherine and Elizabeth.
