Children ages 6 weeks - 4 years.

Tuesday & Thursday     8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Each day is centered around a biblical theme with related learning activities, snacks, and art work. The children play outside, weather permitting. The children will attend a music class weekly and their very own special chapel for a time of worship. Our Mothers Day Out program uses Lifeway Curriculum.

Holidays:
Our Mother’s Day Out Program will observe the same holidays that the Enterprise School system observe.

Weather Days:
In the event of bad weather, Hillcrest MDO will observe the same weather days that the Enterprise School system observe. These days are usually announced on our local radio stations.

Enrollment:
A child is actively enrolled in the program when the registration fee and enrollment forms are received by the program director. No child shall be discriminated based on race, color, religious belief, or gender.

Ages:
We accept ages 6 weeks to preschoolers who have yet to complete Kindergarten.

Curriculum:
We seek to provide an environment that emphasizes Christian values and the principles of faith as the foundation for spiritual growth.  We have therefore chosen curriculum published by Lifeway Resources.  This program provides opportunities for the children to learn about God, Jesus, the Bible, the church, family, self, and the world around them.

Chapel:
Preschool Chapel is offered to the 1yr. old- 4yr old classes once a week.  The emphasis is on God’s plan for a good and loving world.  Appropriate stories from the Bible are shared with the children.  Praise, thanksgiving, and prayer are part of their Chapel experience.  We seek to tell the good news of God’s love, and to enable the children to respond in ways appropriate for their age.

What to Bring:

Complete change of clothing (labeled with the child’s name) the change of clothes should be placed in a gallon-size Ziploc bag and clearly labeled.

Disposable diapers (if your child is in diapers)

A morning snack will be provided for your child. For the 2-year old classes, please send a sippy-cup with your child’s name on it for their drinks (juice, milk, etc.). Special arrangements can be made if you would like to bring something for a birthday celebration.

Birthdays:
Birthdays are a special time for the children. If your child is having a birthday, feel free to send cupcakes or cookies to share with his/her class. Please make sure your child’s teacher is notified that you will be bringing in a special snack so they can make those arrangements.

Parent Involvement:
We would love for each parent to be as involved as much as possible. If you are not sure what you can do….just ask!!

Field Trips:
Each time a field trip is made, parents will be informed and asked to sign a permission form allowing the child to go on the trip. Parents are invited to help with filed trips.
